Weekend Warrior Bag Picture

What do I carry in my bag on the weekends? Even on the weekends, there is time for business. This rugged yet stylish bag has a hybrid appeal to it so that it can be casual or professional. See below to see what the contents of my bag are.

  1. Cole Haan Messenger Bag (discontinued)
  2. iPhone 5S
  3. Bag of Cords – Eagle Creek Bags
  4. Notepad (Google freebie) – Moleskine
  5. Portable Battery Charger (Bing freebie)
  6. Burts Bees Chapstick
  7. Flash Drive
  8. Pen and Pencil – G2 07
  9. Altoids
  10. Solar Powered Keyring Flashlight
  11. iPad Air w/ Brookstone leather cover
  12. LifeProof waterproof case for iPhone 5S
  13. Paracord Bracelet
  14. Silver personally engraved business card holder
  15. Oakley TwoFace Sunglasses
  16. Selfie Pole
  17. Fossil Brown Leather Watch

Why do you have all that in your bag?

  1. Cole Haan Messenger Bag (discontinued) – It’s leather, rugged, and my wife got it for me. So, it’s awesome!
  2. iPhone 5S – Do I really have to explain this? I hope not…
  3. Bag of Cords – Eagle Creek Bags – I like to be organized, and these small bags make a perfect size to store cords in.
  4. Notepad (Google freebie) – Moleskine notebooks are my favorite. The one I have here was a freebie from a Google Partners event.
  5. Portable Battery Charger (Bing freebie) – You never know when you might be in a situation where you may need a little charge boost for one of your devices. This can be a life saver!
  6. Burts Bees Chapstick – I used to never use chapstick, but once I dabbled with Burts Bees, I was hooked.
  7. Flash Drive – Yes, I know my iPad doesn’t have a drive on it… but that’s not why I have it. I have lots of files on this guy that are too big to easily email, so it gives me another option to share information with people without having to use dropbox (as long as they have a computer on them).
  8. Pen and Pencil – G2 07 – I prefer “fine” point pens and pencil. I mainly use them for writing notes, especially on business cards. The pencil, is purely for drawing and doodling.
  9. Altoids – Do you like talking to people with bad breathe? Neither do I, so that’s why I pop in one of these guys.
  10. Solar Powered Keyring Flashlight – Ok, ok. Why have a “solar powered” flashlight in your bag? Well, it holds a charge really well and I make sure to bring it out to get some sun every now and then.
  11. iPad Air w/ Brookstone leather cover – It’s got everything I could need for on-the-business… and it’s super small.
  12. LifeProof waterproof case for iPhone 5S – Just in case there is a body of water nearby and I want to get some cool underwater shots.
  13. Paracord Bracelet – You just never know…
  14. Silver personally engraved business card holder – Present from my wife. If I knew where she got it, I’d provide a link.
  15. Oakley TwoFace Sunglasses – In fact, any kind of Oakley sunglasses. I’m kind of a big fan of the half jackets for running.
  16. Selfie Pole – Lame? Ok, maybe a little. But, there were many a time when it’s just been me somewhere awesome and my arm was just not long enough to fully capture me in the whole picture.
  17. Fossil Brown Leather Watch – A nice watch to look “professional”.
